PMQ History
"Creativity at a New Address"
Before revitalization, PMQ was built in 1951 as the Police Married Quarters.
In November 2010, the HKSAR Government announced the plan to preserve the site for creative industries uses.
홍콩 PMQ는 홍콩의 대표적인 관광지로, 1951년 '경찰 사택(Police Married Quarters)'으로
건축되어, 2010년 홍콩 정부의 재개발 프로젝트를 통해 탄생한 창의적 홍콩의 문화 및 디자인
랜드마크입니다. 50년 이상 된 역사적 건물을 보존하면서 현재는 국내외 디자이너와 아티스트들의
작품을 전시하고, 독창적인 스튜디오와 소품샵, 그리고 다양한 문화 행사와 워크숍이 열리는 복합 문화 공간으로 활용되고 있습니다.
